How to reverse the negative effects of sitting

Myth #3

It’s a myth that a good chair can save your joints.

Sitting inside for 8 hours a day is a problem.

An outdoor walking habit is the solution.

Walk outside to:

  • Stretch your legs

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Improve your sleep schedule

Trust me when I say the human body wasn’t designed for chairs.

Extend your hip, straighten your knee, and stretch your ankles while walking.

Today, the average person walks less than 2 miles a day.

While our ancestors walked at least 5 miles daily.

Their behaviors shaped our DNA.

Make movement a part of your lifestyle.

Low-intensity exercise eliminates swelling.

When you stop moving, blood flow is reduced.

Avoid:

  • Sitting in a chair

  • Lying on the couch

  • Blue light before bed

Choose active recovery methods:

  • Walking outdoors

  • Connecting with your breath

  • Stretching or sitting on the ground

Create the identity of an active person.

See yourself as someone who is always moving.

It’s not that people who exercise never experience joint pain.

But they’ve built up resiliency.

Exercise + recovery is the secret to strengthening your:

  • Muscles

  • Tendons

  • Joint surfaces

Movement is medicine when you recover the right way.

That’s why when I work with people, I don’t just prescribe exercise.

A big-picture approach to deliver fast results.

I started writing online because I wanted to give people a road map to joint pain recovery.

I thought people wanted a low-cost way to overcome foot pain.

But during my recent product launch, I was surprised by how many people were asking about 1 to 1 coaching.

I got a message from one person saying they wanted more accountability. And another asking if they could get feedback on their exercise technique.

Which is why I've decided to re-open my 1 on 1 coaching offer.

I want to work closely with you over the next 2 months to fix your feet for good.

But because of the time investment required from me, I'm limiting the opportunity to just 3 spots.

I won’t go into all the details here, just reply with ‘interested’ if you want to hear more.

Hope this helps,
