How to avoid Bunions:
Bunions are a bad deal.
The doctor may have told you it’s genetic.
But here’s the truth:
Poor-fitting footwear changed your foot.

Odd-shaped toes might not bother you now.
But I can assure you it’s affecting your balance and coordination.
And once it gets to the point of pain, it becomes a harder problem to fix.
Surgery is the most common solution (followed by PT and a year-long recovery).
I don’t want this future for you.
Narrow shoes, boots, and skates turned my toes in.
But I fixed my feet before I required surgery.
It’s an easy fix if you get ahead of the problem.
You need to put your toes in the right position.
Here’s 3 the simple changes to avoid BUNIONS:
Toe socks
Barefoot is best but sometimes we need to stay warm.
The fabric creates a small space between your toes for better toe positioning.

A tiny improvement in toe alignment.
But I’ve also noticed improved foot awareness.
I have more feeling and can move each toe separately.
Can you spread your toes?

Wide toe box
I used to love Nike shoes.
To me, it meant I was an athlete.
But working as a PT in a foot clinic changed everything.
I realized Nike’s have a narrow toe box.

The only Nike’s I have left are of basketball shoes.
But I also got rid of foot soreness after a long day on my feet.
Better balance and improved toe alignment when you switch to shoes that fit your feet.
Vivo barefoot shoes are my favorite brand for daily use.
Vibram 5-finger shoes for walking and running.
Now that we made room for your toes, it’s time to put them in the right position.
Toe spreaders
An affordable and effective option to start remodeling your feet.
Incrementally increase the time you wear them.
Start with 15 minutes working up to an hour or two a day.
I’ve tried wearing them with shoes but it felt a little crammed.
I recommend wearing them barefoot.
Order a cheap pair on Amazon to avoid expensive bunion surgery.
Fix your feet so you can do more of the things you love.
Hope this helps,
