Does where we walk matter?

From the beach in South Carolina.

My wife and I are here for family, fresh seafood, and walking.

I used to think walking was a waste of time.

I would rather run or lift weights to get a better workout.

But now I’ve realized the value of walking in nature.

We’ve flattened our environment and it’s not just our feet paying the price.

Flat feet and anxiety are now the norm.

Walking in nature strengthens our feet and reduces stress.

Walking on the beach is one of the best things you can do for your health.

For the relaxation, sunlight, and also what it can do for your feet.

On uneven ground,

Your soles are poked, turned, and twisted with each step.

While flat ground puts more stress on some structures and less on others.

You end up overworking the ankle joint and lower leg muscles.

Varied terrain distributes between the 26 bones, 33 joints, and 34 muscles of your foot.

Your feet, body, and mind mold itself to the environment.

So next time you go for a walk try to avoid concrete.

Walk in the grass, on trails, and on good days walk on the beach.

The human body was designed to walk in nature.

Hope this Helps,

PS

What’s the best place to walk?

Walking in nature not only fixes our feet but also our minds.

Stronger feet and mental clarity are the results.

That’s one of the reasons I’m creating a foot pain recovery plan so you can walk without limitations.
