A routine to achieve your vision for the future

Not having a routine is a huge mistake.

Not having a routine is a huge mistake.

Because without rules, there is no game.

And without a game, there is no winning.

Do you feel like you should exercise more?

Wish you had more time to cook healthy meals?

Or maybe you want to cut back on your screen time?

Whatever you want out of life, a routine will help you achieve it.

Your actions start to align with your ideal self (without much extra effort).

The problem with not having a routine is you don’t have a filter for distractions.

The small things that are draining your energy don’t seem like a problem:

-Laying in bed all morning

-Scrolling social media at midnight

-Listening to the news thinking every problem is your problem

We need a to have one big goal in mind.

A clear picture of the direction we want to go with our life.

Use your vision for the future to decide what actions are worth your time.

I didn’t always have a morning routine.

Before my wife moved in many years ago, I would sleep in until 8 or 9 AM.

At first it was terrible because I was tired all the time.

But then I got used to it (and started going to bed earlier)

I even started enjoying early morning exercise.

A routine is how you can be consistent with uncomfortable health habits.

Like an ice bath, going outside every morning, or choosing a challenging workout.

New habits stick when they become effortless to implement.

Put your progress on auto-pilot by adopting the right routine.

The most important part of your routine is the start and end to your day.

A morning routine to increase your energy (exercise, walking, working)

An evening routine that is relaxing (be present, spend time with family, put your phone away).

When you set yourself up for to be productive and get quality sleep everything else falls into place.

Build momentum by increasing your daily energy.

We all know we should workout, eat healthy, and get enough sleep.

Create a routine to bring your ideal self to life.

This doesn’t happen all at once,

It’s about making small changes to build a better future.

So what’s one health habit you want to adopt?

Anchor it to something already in your routine.

For example, if you wanted to start a habit of working out every morning.

You could say “After I finish brushing my teeth, I will do a 10 minute home workout”

It may not sound like much but just 10 minutes daily is enough to have impact on your fitness and daily energy.

But more importantly you’re now a person who works out everyday.

You’re on the path to your ideal future.

Hope this goes well for you,
